Numicon

The Numicon Maths System is an inclusive, multi-sensory approach to teaching numeracy for preschool and primary-aged students. It is also an excellent resource for children with learning difficulties or special needs.

Numicon's imagery uses patterns to represent each numeral; the patterns are structured so number relationships can be seen in a way not provided by written numerals. Numicon encourages an understanding of number and arithmetic relationships which is essential for successful mental and written arithmetic.
